Dr Mark Viner

Dr Mark Viner is Senior Tutor in Radiography at Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of London, and Senior Lecturer in Forensic Radiography at Cranfield University Forensic Institute. He has over40 years of experience of forensic radiography and DVI and co-ordinated forensic radiography teams for the United Nations International Court and Criminal Tribunals in Yugoslavia & Sierra Leone and the UK response to the Tsunami and London Suicide Bombings. He has led the development of forensic radiography in the UK and internationally and is founding chair of IAFR, founding vice-chair of ISFRI and founding editorial board member of Forensic Imaging. In 2020 he completed a PhD by published work bringing together almost 30 years of research & publication in the field of forensic radiography. Dr Claire Robinson

Dr Claire Robinson is a Consultant Radiographer in forensic imaging in Leicester, UK where she runs the forensic and post mortem imaging services. She has been involved in forensic imaging and research for over 20 years during which she has helped develop coronary PMCT angiography, the use of PMCT in DVI, authored and co-authored more than 30 papers and book chapters and has presented at many national and international conferences. Claire is a founder member of IAFR and is the International DVI Co-ordinator and chair of the UK Branch.

Amy-Lee Brookes

Amy-Lee Brookes BSc (Hons), MSc, qualified as a radiographer in 2013 and has worked as the Post-Mortem CT Lead at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals since 2018. She joined IAFR in 2014 and completed the relevant training in 2015 to become a member of UKFRRT. Amy currently holds the position of DVI Coordinator on the International IAFR committee and UK DVI Coordinator on the IAFR UK Branch. Amy graduated with a Master of Science in Forensic Radiography at Teesside University 2017 having undertaken research in to the use of imaging in juvenile skeletons in Forensic Anthropology. She has extensive post-mortem and forensic experience in adult post-mortem cases in plain-film, CT and post-mortem angiography and in live SPA cases and post-mortem paediatric cases including SPA, SUDI and forensics. Additionally, she has deployment experience in DVI using both CT and dental imaging. Amy also worked on the behalf of IAFR and in conjunction with UK DVI and AML to create the IAFR DVI MOU and establish the current IAFR UK DVI Team. Amy has presented numerous forensic radiology presentations at conferences, universities and study days in the UK, Europe and Internationally. She has also presented several successful Suspected Physical Abuse study days to radiographers within the UK. She has also published work on Forensic Imaging. Additionally, she has experience working with both adult and juvenile skeletal human remains. Her experience also includes the imaging of skeletal remains, both archaeological and forensic.
